"What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down.
"Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary."
Photography started as one of many experimental hobbies in my early teens, next to collecting rocks and rollerblading. After traveling with family, friends and on my own, I'd learned to hone my techniques on the run. In 2007, I unofficially started Emily Timm (now Ross) Photography. Here are a few of my favorite pictures. Some have been published, others have won awards, and the real gems do nothing but remind me of a time I really lived.
I almost always shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel XS, wide lens. All other times, I’m left to the convenience of my iPhone or my old and getting older, scratched to perfection, Canon point-and-shoot.
I specialize in landscapes and nature, but have also contracted portraits, commercial and residential real estate decor, and event photography.
To me, there's nothing fancy about what I do; I'm a photographer because I love it. But if you're looking to fill a wall with something bright, or hire a photographer for someone you love, please contact me directly.
